Dr. Simhi was raised in Baltimore, just minutes away from Cross Keys Dental. Majoring in Biology, she earned her bachelors of Science from Towson University. After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland in 2014, she continued her training in general practice in New York. She returned home to Baltimore for her specialty training in pediatric dentistry and earned her certificate in pediatric dentistry in 2017.
During her training, Dr. Simhi, served on staff at the University of Maryland Medical Center, and was a member of the cleft lip and palate team at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She also worked in several clinics providing outpatient care to low income families. Her research interests include understanding why cavities affect populations so unequally. In residency, she conducted research to examined how sugar containing beverages and BMI affect these trends. Her didactic rich, progressive experience in academic and clinical settings provide her with the ability to deliver comprehensive, evidence based care at various levels.
Dr. Simhi is an active member of the ADA, AAPD, IAPD and participates in local study clubs. She currently serves on the executive committee of the Maryland Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Simhi’s goal is to promote and improve oral health for all children including those with special health care needs. She has a special interest in prevention and is most passionate about motivating her patients to improve their oral health by creating positive and meaningful dental experiences.
Dr. Simhi is happily married to her husband, Naor, of almost 10 years. Together, they are blissfully raising their two children, Naama and Daniel.
